US Open Schedule Announced

With qualifying matches already underway, the US Open is in full swing at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The final Grand Slam of the year features two weeks of exciting tennis action on the iconic acrylic hard courts at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. The 2025 tournament marks several new changes, including an expanded 15-day schedule, increased prize money and the use of video review on all 17 competition courts.

Jannik Sinner, who won this year’s event, begins his title defense against Vit Kopriva on Sunday (Aug 24). He could face players like Jack Draper or Alexander Zverev on his way to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, defending women’s champion Aryna Sabalenka takes on Rebeka Masarova, while top-seeded Novak Djokovic opens against American qualifier Learner Tien.

Whether you plan to attend a single match or the whole tournament, you’ll find plenty of food and drink options at the Open. At the connected Kimpton Hotel Theta New York – Times Square, fans can enjoy a Grand Slam Getaway package, which includes a Honey Deuce per guest and table tennis access during finals weekend (Sept. 6-7).

If you’re staying elsewhere, downtown Flushing offers some of the city’s best Chinese and South American food. Plus, you can grab a quick bite at the Mets-Willets Point Food Court before catching the train to the stadium.
